Remember Courtney & JoStanley’s preppy engagement session? Well today we have their lovely wedding up on the blog! It was definitely a fun filled wedding with family and friends and even a surprise dance with the Bride and her father.
From the Bride:
Since we met online I had to check him out first so we decide to meet at Panera bread. The first thing I noticed was his height. I was thinking yes he is taller than me and the other thing was that he was well dressed. Jo tells me that he was attracted to my smile. The vision for our wedding was to be bright but classy. Or wedding colors were primary orange and white with green and silver as secondary colors. We had around 103 guests. Jo and I were having a little bit of a difficulty securing or church fur the day we wanted to have our wedding on. So I did a little research online and found a beautiful church called St. Paul Lutheran Church who would allow us to use their facility even though we did not belong to their congregation. Once we did the tour and saw the wooden benches and stain glass windows we knew we had to have this location. What made our ceremony special was that my mother’s friend was able to officiate the wedding for us(on his birthday) so my dad could walk me Down the aisle. Besides that fact that my sister and brother in law were the ones to find the reception spot for us, what also made it special was the choreographed dance my dad and i did as well as seeing the two famines blend together on the dance floor. For flowers, I wanted something very bright and full so I started searching online and on Pinterest and found the flower arrangement that I thought would work. I then showed them to Teddy from Flowerama in Clearwater ( I’ve known Teddy since middle school) and said he knew exactly what flowers were in the bouquet. As far as the cake Lots and lots of scroll work and flowers For our favors I wanted something unique so I decided to hand paint wine glasses in our wedding colors, stuff them with rose petals and candy.
