Hello beautiful people! Today, I have a special treat for everyone. I am always on the hunt to feature event professionals and their work. So happy to feature out first styled shoot..submitted by U & I Event Design.
About U & I Event Design:
U & I Event Design is an up and coming event design and planning outfit in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company became official (a registered business in California) in early 2012. It aims to help the average bride achieve a chic, elegant and memorable wedding within her budget. We love the challenge of coming up with creative solutions that will help a bride pull off a tasteful event she would be proud of. We strongly believe personalization is crucial when creating a memorable and unique wedding. Getting to know our couples in order to ensure their wedding reflects who they are is
high priority with us.
About the Styled Shoot:
Our goal for this decorative shoot (also our company’s philosophy) was to come up with creative ways to bring affordable style to the budget conscious bride. The kind of bride we were thinking of for this shoot is artsy, feminine, effortlessly elegant (and a bit playful), non-conformist, modern and at the same time has a love of vintage things. The end result is an elegant look made up of unconventional centerpieces, just the right dose of vintage elements balanced with classic tableware. The vintage inspired box used in the first centerpiece contains a mix of real and paper flowers. The second centerpiece uses bright, colorful paper flowers to add some whimsy and playfulness to the décor. Then we made use of burlap fabric (for the vase and table number) for a vintage feel. Notice the unusual color of pink burlap bow tied around the vase, for our non-conformist “bride”. The pretty, patterned paper flowers used in embellishing the vintage inspired menu cards brings added femininity to the overall look, and so do the Victorian style trinket boxes used as favor boxes.
